Last week, Edina police came to the aid of a family in need when a healthy baby boy was born at home. The spur-of-the-moment birth was aided by the city’s police and fire departments, who were called to the home.
Nate Wagner, dad to the newborn, expressed his gratitude to the police and firefighters who assisted him during the delivery process. “I am incredibly grateful for the men and women in uniform who serve our community so well,” he said. “I especially want to thank Edina police Sgt. Darren Davis for coaching me through the delivery process and helping me catch my baby.”
Titus Elliot, who joined big sisters Eden, 6, and Addie, 4, is doing great at home. Nate shared with us that his wife Arielle is recovering well from the birth and that Titus is already bringing joy to their lives. “Our whole family is thrilled to have a new addition,” Nate said. “We are so happy that our little one is here and we can start this new chapter together as a family.”
