AOC has announced the release of their new Q27G3XMN/BK 27-inch monitor, which combines MiniLED technologies with excellent performance at an affordable price point. The monitor features a Fast VA panel that offers QHD (2560×1440) resolution and MiniLED backlighting that supports 336 dimming zones, making it VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified. This allows for deep black tones and the brightest points to be displayed on the same screen.

The Full Range Local Dimming (FALD) backlight solution enhances the HDR experience by allowing some parts of the screen to be completely black while keeping others at a very high brightness. The monitor produces 1.07 billion colors and high color gamut coverage (+95% DCI-P3) using a color depth of 10 bits (8 bits + FRC). It offers a refresh rate of 180Hz and a response time of 1ms GtG, making it ideal for gamers looking for a smooth gaming experience.

In addition to its excellent performance, the monitor also comes equipped with numerous features that are designed to enhance the gaming experience. The ergonomic stand offers options for height, tilt, rotation and adjustment, as well as Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue, which should protect your eyes during prolonged gaming sessions.

One standout feature is Shadow Control, which allows gamers to adjust shadow levels and highlights to customize the visual experience of gaming. This can help make enemies in dark corners more easily visible, giving you an advantage in FPS games where aim is crucial. The monitor also supports Adaptive-Sync, which means it can use a variable refresh rate to eliminate tearing and stuttering caused by disproportionate frames.

Covering Sight (Dial Point) is another useful feature that allows gamers to aim accurately in FPS games where sightlines are missing. And you can adjust all OSD settings using either AOC G-Menu software or directly from the OSD buttons on the monitor itself.

AOC says the monitor will be available in November at a suggested retail price of €399.
