Attention to all individuals with the name Kyle! The City of Kyle is extending an invitation to participate in breaking the world record.

The City of Kyle in Texas is making an attempt to set a Guinness World Record by gathering as many people named Kyle as possible within its city limits. The event is scheduled for May 18 at the Kyle Fair, and it is open to anyone with the name Kyle spelled that exact way.

Participants named Kyle are encouraged to register online or in person at the Kyle Fair. To take part in the record-breaking attempt, proof of the first name “Kyle” is required. Variations of the name, such as Kyler, Kyal, or Kylee, will not be accepted. Middle names, last names, and nicknames also do not qualify for participation.

City officials are hoping to surpass the current record held in Bosnia, where 2,325 individuals named Ivan gathered in 2017. Last year’s “Gathering of the Kyles” event in Kyle, Texas brought together 1,490 participants from across the country.

The Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza will run from May 17-19 at Lake Kyle Park, featuring live music, food trucks, margarita judging, rib judging, and other activities. Admission to the fair is free for all attendees.
