Kyle Vogt, founder and CEO of Cruise, the driverless car subsidiary of General Motors, resigned from the company on Sunday. Warner Bros Discovery and Sony have joined other prominent brands in halting their spending on X, the social media service formerly known as Twitter, as backlash continued over Elon Musk’s endorsement of an antisemitic conspiracy theory on X. Talks at OpenAI to bring back Sam Altman, the artificial intelligence start-up’s recently ousted chief executive, continued but there were disagreements over the makeup of the company’s board of directors. Rosalynn Carter, former first lady and political partner of husband and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, died at the age of 96 on Sunday.
