On 14th February, we are launching a new series called “Taboos and Tricky Topics” that will engage in challenging conversations about science culture. This series is a follow-up to last year’s Vision for a Great Science Culture, where we outlined the values, behaviors, and expectations of a positive science community.
The goal of this series is to address the tensions within science culture, such as the balance between advancing a research career and dedicating time to improving aspects of science culture. We want to provide a platform for individuals at different career stages and from different backgrounds to share their perspectives. Additionally, we welcome your input through our questions and comments board, where you can submit anonymously.
To participate in the conversation, visit our YouTube channel or LinkedIn page at 4pm UK time on 14th February. You can also submit your questions and comments at any time leading up to the event.
