Canmore World Cup Sprint Freestyle: Top 10 Men Qualify as Competition Continues

Qualifier for the Men’s Sprint at the Canmore World Cup

The second event of the Canmore World Cup is taking place today, Saturday, February 10, in Canada. This time around, the focus is on freestyle technique as athletes compete in a sprint race. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) clocked the fastest time in the sprint qualifier. Out of the top 30 skiers who qualified, only the top 10 men’s results have been released so far.

The Canmore World Cup is being held from Friday, February 9 to Tuesday, February 13, 2024, and features some of the best national skiers competing in various events including the 15km Mass Start Freestyle, Sprint Freestyle, 20km Mass Start Classic, and Sprint Classic. Here are the details for each event:

Friday, February 9th:

– Women’s 15km Mass Start Freestyle at 18:40 CET

– Men’s 15km Mass Start Freestyle at 20:45 CET

Saturday, February 10th:

– Women’s Sprint Freestyle Qualification at 18:30 CET

– Men’s Sprint Freestyle Qualification at 19:04 CET

– Women’s Sprint Freestyle Finals at 21:00 CET

– Men’s Sprint Freestyle Finals at 21:30 CET

Sunday, February 11th:

– Women’s Sprint Classical Qualification at TBD (to be announced)

– Men’s Sprint Classical Qualification at TBD (to be announced)

– Women’s Sprint Classical Finals at TBD (to be announced)

– Men’s Sprint Classical Finals at TBD (to be announced)
