Dolphins sign Raheem Mostert to a two-year contract extension

Running back Raheem Mostert has reached an agreement on a new two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins, as announced by his agent Brett Tessler on social media. The deal, reported by NFL Media, is worth up to $9.075 million and will keep Mostert with the Dolphins through 2025. Despite being almost 32 years old, Mostert has been relatively healthy and has played in nearly every game for Miami in the last two seasons.

In 2023, Mostert had a standout season, earning his first Pro Bowl selection after leading the league in total touchdowns with 21. He rushed for over 1,000 yards with 18 touchdowns and also contributed as a receiver with 25 catches for 175 yards and three scores. Throughout his 90 career games with 38 starts, Mostert has accumulated 3,513 yards rushing and 32 touchdowns. He has also made 92 receptions for 738 yards and eight touchdowns.

Despite some injury setbacks in the past, Mostert’s consistent performance on the field has earned him a well-deserved contract extension with the Dolphins. As a key contributor to the team’s offense, Mostert will continue to play an important role for Miami in the upcoming seasons.
