Donna Kelce, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, is famous for her chocolate chip cookies. A small business in the Kansas City area created a mug that caught her attention and she ended up buying 20 of them for Christmas gifts. The mug features her cookie recipe and sells for about $18.
In response to Donna’s purchase, Annie Stowe, owner of Annie’s Barn, reached out to Donna and asked if she could put her cookie recipe on a mug and donate $5 per mug sold to pay off elementary school lunch debt. Donna agreed and enough mugs were sold to pay off about $2,000 towards lunch debt at a school in the Kansas City metro area. Stowe said that when the Chiefs do well, she does well and this was her little way to give back.
Donna Kelce’s cookies became well known after she made them for her sons before Super Bowl LVII in February 2023. If you are interested in a mug, you can visit Annie’s Barn’s website.
Stowe also said that she had asked Donna if she wanted to deliver the checks to the school with her, but so far, she has not heard back from Donna who is currently in Las Vegas watching her son Travis play against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
