Earnhardt Jr. To Make Xfinity Return at Bristol

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has confirmed that he will make his annual NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway. Earnhardt will be behind the wheel of the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro on Friday, Sept. 20. Hellmann’s Mayonnaise has signed a multi-year extension with JR Motorsports and will be Earnhardt’s primary partner for the race. Last season, Hellmann’s was also Earnhardt’s primary partner at Bristol, where he led 47 laps but finished 30th due to a fire inside the No. 88 Chevrolet.

“We are grateful for Unilever and Hellmann’s continued support and partnership,” Earnhardt said in a statement. “They have been with JR Motorsports since the early days, both on and off the track, playing a significant role in our organization’s success. They are a vital part of our company, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.” JR Motorsports also revealed that Hellmann’s will sponsor Justin Allgaier’s No. 7 car for six races this season. The specific races where Allgaier will carry the Hellmann’s colors have yet to be announced. Last season, Allgaier had Unilever, the parent company of Hellmann’s, as his primary partner for six races. As part of that deal, he won at Daytona and Martinsville with Hellmann’s branding and triumphed at Charlotte with a Unilever scheme.
