Delicious Mocktail Recipes for Valentine’s Day from Tulsa Health Department

In preparation for Valentine’s Day, the Tulsa Health Department’s substance abuse prevention program and the StopDUI Task Force are urging residents to drink responsibly and safely or try a mocktail instead. To help with this, the two organizations collaborated to present a Facebook Live mocktail tutorial on Friday, February 9. THD Prevention Specialist Kandice Lawson and Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Eric Kirby will share delicious recipes for festive drinks that are perfect for the holiday.

For those looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the “Circus of Love” mocktail is sure to hit the spot. This drink is made with one large carbonated beverage, marshmallow fluff, cotton candy, sprinkles, and a few crushed ice cubes. Simply roll the rim of the glass in marshmallow fluff, dip it in sprinkles, pour in three-quarters of the carbonated beverage, stir in some cotton candy and serve!

For those who want something a little more adventurous, try the “Stop in the Name of Love” mocktail. This drink combines sparkling hibiscus red grape juice with lemon-lime soda and orange juice. Crush some ice cubes and mix them into a glass full of crushed ice before adding several Valentine’s Candy Hearts on top as garnish. Shake or stir until well mixed before serving!

If you’re looking for something simpler but still delicious, why not try Kandi-Coated Punch? This punch combines one liter of Sprite with two bottles of Simply Lemonade (one with raspberry juice and one with strawberry juice), one can of Dole 100% Pineapple Juice and some chopped strawberries and raspberries. Simply add all ingredients together and stir until well mixed before serving!
