In an electrifying match in the round of 16 at the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, Germany emerged victorious over the United States with a final score of 3-2. The game was played at a blistering pace, with both teams vying for control.

Germany took an early lead with a stunning free kick by Charles Herrmann in the 14th minute. However, the United States refused to be deterred and equalized just ten minutes later with a goal by Taha Habroune. The game was back on even terms, but it wouldn’t stay that way for long.

In the first half, Germany regained their advantage with a goal from Max Moerstedt in the 30th minute. The United States tried to keep up, but they were struggling to maintain their footing. As the clock ticked down towards halftime, it looked like Germany would be taking home the win.

However, things took a dramatic turn in the second half when David Vazquez scored a stunning free kick for the United States in the 80th minute, tying things up once again. It seemed like we were headed for extra time when Bilal Yalcinkaya came on as a substitute and scored a last-minute winner for Germany in the 87th minute. With that goal, Germany secured their victory and advanced to the quarterfinals where they will face Spain on November 24th.
