The pantry, located at St. Agnes Church, saw its volunteers devote over an hour to packing bags, with an estimated 275 bags of food set to be distributed throughout the day.
Linda Young, the organizer of the event, spoke about the importance of community support and dedication in helping those less fortunate. She said that their efforts were aimed at ensuring that everyone in need had access to a Thanksgiving meal. The bags packed by the volunteers would go on to make a significant difference for many families during the holiday season.
