Ministry of Agriculture opens coordination table

A coordination table has been established to discuss various aspects of agriculture, including labor costs, manpower procurement, flow management, training, and simplification. This was announced by Patrizio La Pietra, the undersecretary of Masaf, at a meeting held with representatives from Agricultural redemption.

La Pietra emphasized that the government is committed to protecting the agricultural sector and will defend it with the same level of conviction. He also revealed that a new policy for community agricultural projects is being considered, which will have a direct impact on the agricultural industry and its stakeholders.

The majority of farmers stand to benefit from new policies that are set to be introduced by the government. Discussions will begin with regions and agricultural organizations to identify supply chains for the first support interventions. Additionally, there are plans to revise the insurance system in order to lower insurance policy costs for farmers and expand coverage for catastrophic risks.
