Impressive goalkeeping from Sporting KC’s Melia and LAFC’s Lloris leads to scoreless draw

The match between Sporting Kansas City and LAFC ended in a scoreless draw, with both goalkeepers making six saves each. This result marked Sporting KC’s third consecutive tie of the season, with two of those draws coming on the road. The team has already accumulated as many points as it did in its first 10 matches of the previous season, where it started with a record of 0-7-3.

Despite signing a two-year contract extension with LAFC, Golden Boot winner Dénis Bouanga is still searching for his first goal of the season after scoring 20 goals in the previous year. Tim Melia from Sporting KC made four of his saves in the first half, while LAFC’s Hugo Lloris saved three shots in each half.

Next, Sporting KC will return home to face the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, while LAFC will travel to play against Minnesota United on the same day. Fans can stay updated on soccer news through the AP soccer hub and Twitter account.
