Profiles of Women in Science at NICHD

Dr. Rouault is a Distinguished NIH Investigator who heads the Section on Human Iron Metabolism and is also a U.S. veteran. Dr. Gomez-Lobo directs Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology in NICHD’s Division of Intramural Research, while Dr. Kassis leads the Section on Gene Expression and serves as Head of the Genetics and Epigenetics of Development Affinity Group in NICHD’s Division of Intramural Research.

Dr. Le Pichon is Director of NICHD’s Unit on the Development of Neurodegeneration, which falls under the Division of Intramural Research, while Dr. Grewal serves as Director of the Division of Population Health Research within NICHD’s Division of Intramural Research.

Dr. Cernich is Deputy Director at NICHD, while Dr. Bianchi is Director at NICHD, leading its efforts and activities under the umbrella of its Division of Intramural Research (DIR).
