DCS Corp. has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Navy to provide engineering, programmatic, and technical support services. The contract will focus on addressing challenges related to naval visible, electro-optic/infrared advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and technology.
Under the contract, DCS Corp. will conduct research and development related to the generation and use of radiation in the wavelength region between near-ultraviolet and far-infrared wavelengths. This work will help enhance the capabilities of the Department of Defense in this critical area.
The contract has a base value of $9.7 million, with a cumulative value of $49.8 million if all options are exercised. The work will be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., with an expected completion date of April 2025.
