Željko Kolar (56) became a proud grandfather for the first time recently, with his son Maks welcoming a daughter. This news brought in congratulations from all corners as Kolar and his wife, Mira Hrbud Kolar, welcomed their new addition to the family.
Kolar has had a long and distinguished career in politics, currently serving as the Prefect of Krapina-Zagorje County and a member of the SDP. He has also been the mayor of Klanjec since 2009 and was elected to the Croatian Parliament in 2011. In addition to his role as Prefect, he has also served as vice president of the Parliamentary Committee for Environment and Nature Protection.
Kolar is not only a dedicated public servant but also an accomplished individual in his own right. His son Maks is a lawyer while his daughter Maja is a doctor.
