Dean Petzing hired by Panthers as Offensive Quality Control Coach

The Panthers have added an experienced offensive quality control coach to their staff, as reported by Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer. Dean Petzing has previously worked at LSU as a lead offensive analyst for the past two years and is currently an offensive quality control coach in Tampa.

Petzing played a key role in the development of quarterback Jayden Daniels during his time at LSU, helping him become a Heisman Trophy winner and a projected first-round pick. His brother, Drew Petzing, is currently the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals.

This new role with the Panthers will mark Petzing’s first time working in the NFL, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. With experience at other schools and having worked under LSU head coach Brian Kelly at Notre Dame, Petzing will bring a fresh perspective to the team’s offense. It will be interesting to see how his expertise in player development and offensive analysis will contribute to the Panthers’ success in the upcoming season.
