The Jets have made a quarterback change, with Zach Wilson being pulled from the game in favor of Tim Boyle. The change came in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Bills, with the Jets down 29-6.

Wilson had been struggling on the field, completing just 7-of-15 passes for 81 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing an interception and being sacked five times. Despite this poor performance, Jets head coach Robert Saleh had been steadfast in his support of Wilson since Aaron Rodgers went down with a torn Achilles earlier in the season. However, with the team’s results continuing to be underwhelming and their playoff hopes dwindling, a change was made.

Boyle has previously appeared in games for the Packers, Lions, and Bears and has even started three times for the Lions in 2021. This will be his first appearance for the Jets. It remains to be seen how well he performs on the field and whether this move will help turn things around for the team.
