Nu:ionic Technologies’ CEO has recently made bold claims about the efficiency of the company’s microwave catalyst reforming (MCR™) technology. This technology is designed to convert energy into hydrogen by using renewable electricity to power the reforming of gas feedstocks like methane and biogas. The Canadian-based start-up plans to deploy two demonstration units after successfully running a 100kW unit for 48 hours continuously in March of 2024.
