Carlo Ancelotti: Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr is the best in the world

Vinicius Jr, the young star of Real Madrid, was praised as the ‘best in the world’ by head coach Carlo Ancelotti after his impressive performance in their 4-0 victory over Girona. The Brazilian forward not only scored the opening goal for Madrid but also provided assists for Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo Goes, leading to a comfortable win for the defending champions.

Despite a strong team effort, Ancelotti singled out Vinicius as the standout player of the match, describing him as a ‘phenomenon’. When asked about other top players outside of Vinicius, Ancelotti mentioned Bellingham, Rodrygo, Valverde, Camavinga, and Kroos.

The victory over Girona was considered one of Madrid’s best performances and results of the season. However, there were concerns about Jude Bellingham’s injury after he suffered a sprained ankle during the match. Ancelotti stated that Bellingham would be assessed before the next game and that his availability would be determined based on how he recovers from his injury.

Despite this setback, Ancelotti was pleased with the team’s overall performance and praised their comprehensive display in all aspects of the game. He also mentioned that the injury emergency increased their defensive commitment during the match. Madrid will soon face RB Leipzig in their first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

Overall, it was an impressive display from both Vinicius Jr and Real Madrid as they continue to dominate La Liga with their excellent play on and off the field.
