On Sunday, the Jets faced off against the Bills in Buffalo. Unfortunately for the Jets, they were not very competitive on the field. However, after the game, things took a turn for the worse when players from both teams engaged in a fight in the tunnel. According to Connor Hughes of SNY, the altercation began with Bills tackle Dion Dawkins and Jets defensive lineman Micheal Clemons. This fight was a result of an earlier incident in the game where Dawkins received a personal foul for unnecessary roughness.
After the game, one Bills player shouted “and we beat that ass, too” as the altercation was broken up. Both teams had been on frustrating runs leading up to Sunday’s game, and it seemed like their frustrations finally boiled over during the 32-6 loss. The Jets will need to regroup quickly if they hope to bounce back against the Dolphins on Black Friday.
