The Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO) and Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) have announced the provisional entry list for the 2024 FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship. Out of over 40 riders who applied, only 24 will be competing in the first edition of the series, which begins with the Pirelli Emilia-Romagna Round on June 14th-16th.

The WorldWCR is a pioneering single-make series exclusively for aspiring female riders, featuring the Yamaha R7. With six rounds in 2024, it aims to provide equal opportunities to emerging talent and break stereotypes in professional racing. The series also seeks to address disparities and open doors to benefits both on and off the track.

The calendar for the 2024 WorldWCR includes rounds at Misano, Donington Park, Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, Balaton Park Circuit, Cremona Circuit, and Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto. Fans can keep up with the inaugural season using the WorldSBK VideoPass. This new era of women’s circuit racing promises to be an exciting addition to the world of motorsport.
