A Toyota 4Runner crashed into Sugarfoot Books Inc. on San Anselmo Ave. at around 12:20 p.m. today, according to the Ross Valley Fire Department. The incident happened when the driver of the vehicle backed into a parked car and then into the storefront. No one was injured in the accident, which was ruled an accident by Battalion Chief Jake Peterson of the Ross Valley Fire Department. He stated that there was no evidence to suggest that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash.
