The Tadawul All Share Index in Saudi Arabia increased by 5.38 points, or 0.04 percent, to close at 12,728.53 during Thursday’s trading session. The total trading turnover for the benchmark index was SR14.36 billion ($3.89 billion), with 126 stocks advancing and 93 declining. In the parallel market, Nomu, the index went up by 308.5 points, or 1.16 percent, closing at 26,989.40, with 43 stocks advancing and 25 retreating.

The MSCI Tadawul Index also saw a rise of 0.88 points, or 0.05 percent, to close at 1,606.22. The top-performing stock of the day was Wafrah for Industry and Development Co., which rose by 9.97 percent to SR49.10. Other strong performers included Saudi Research and Media Group, as well as Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co. On the other hand, the worst performer was Morabaha Marina Financing Co., with its share price dropping by 4.75 percent to SR11.62.

Yanbu Cement Co. announced its annual consolidated financial results for the period ending December 31. The company reported a net profit of SR119.92 million, down 44.33 percent from the previous year due to a decrease in sales revenue and an increase in financing expenses. Wataniya Insurance Co. also announced its financial results, showing a net profit of SR84.6 million for the same period, up from a net loss in the previous year. Dallah Healthcare Co. reported a net profit of SR360.1 million for 2023, reflecting a 31.21 percent increase from the previous year.

The Capital Market Authority board approved Saudi Manpower Solutions Co.’s application for the registration and offering of 120 million shares, representing 30 percent of the firm’s share capital.
