Saudi Arabia to Open World’s First Dragon Ball Theme Park

The Dragon Ball universe, known for its comics, movies, and games, will soon be brought to life in the form of the world’s first theme park in Saudi Arabia. The Qiddiya Investment Company is spearheading the project, which will allow visitors to experience the adventures of Goku and his friends firsthand.

Spanning 500,000 square meters, the theme park will feature seven themed lands inspired by different Dragon Ball worlds. With over 30 themed rides, five major attractions, hotels, and restaurants, visitors will have plenty to explore and enjoy. Concept art of the park gives a glimpse of what to expect, showcasing iconic landmarks from the Dragon Ball sagas.

The announcement of the theme park comes at a significant time, as the original Dragon Ball manga celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The passing of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama adds another layer of emotion to the project, reminding fans of the impact and legacy of the beloved artist.

From the original series to the popular “Z” series and beyond, Dragon Ball has captivated audiences around the world. The upcoming theme park will provide a unique opportunity for fans to step into the world of Dragon Ball and immerse themselves in its rich storytelling and characters.

While an opening date has not been announced, construction on the theme park is expected to start soon. The anticipation among fans is high, as they eagerly await the chance to experience the magic of Dragon Ball in real life.
