Review of the Pros and Cons of a 20-Hour Drive to Disney World

I recently made the decision to drive 20 hours from Connecticut to Florida in order to save money on airfare for my trip. It was a nice opportunity to be able to pack as much as I wanted and make stops along the way during the journey. However, looking back, I realized that next time I would be willing to pay a little more in order to get my Disney World vacation started faster.

Although flying is usually the most efficient option when visiting Disney World from Connecticut, for a trip over Presidents Day weekend with flights costing over $500 roundtrip, my friend and I decided to drive instead. Although the drive took nearly 40 hours roundtrip, I was able to save about $300 on travel expenses.

Driving from Connecticut to Florida has its pros and cons. On one hand, it allows you to pack as much as you want and make stops along the way during the journey.
