On Monday morning, the Croatian Auto Club (HAK) issued a warning about the wet and slippery pavements in the city and on ring roads. The club also noted that there has been an increase in traffic on city roads and ring roads. HAK advised drivers to be cautious, especially on Rok and Ledenik in the direction of Zagreb.

To ensure safe driving, HAK recommends that drivers adjust their speed and driving style to suit the current road conditions. They emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe distance between vehicles, especially given the slippery conditions. The advised speed limit in the affected areas is 60 kilometers per hour, and drivers are encouraged to drive in one lane to minimize the risk of accidents.

HAK’s warning comes after several accidents occurred on city roads and ring roads due to wet weather conditions. As such, drivers are urged to exercise extra caution while driving during these conditions. HAK advises that drivers should slow down, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and avoid sudden movements such as hard braking or turning sharply.
