Ivan Anušić, the newly appointed Minister of Defense, clarified to members of Parliament that he left high school at 17 to go to war. Despite this setback, he returned in 1993 and finished high school before pursuing further education. He took out a loan to pay for semesters at the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb, where he received the status of ‘bachelor’ a year ago.

However, there was an error on the part of Parliament when they assumed Anušić had completed his studies. The administration of the Faculty of Kinesiology confirmed that he is currently enrolled in the professional graduate study in Coach Education and completed his undergraduate professional study in Coach Education in 2021. He is now working towards his professional specialist title in coaching.

Anušić has completed six semesters of undergraduate studies and is now pursuing an additional four semesters for graduate-level studies. He expressed his determination to continue his studies during his time as Minister of Defense and put forth considerable effort to complete the program.

In conclusion, while Ivan Anušić’s education background may not be what was initially assumed by Parliament, it is clear that he is committed to continuing his studies and excelling in his field as Minister of Defense.
