Super Bowl Field in Good Condition, As of Now

Last year, the Super Bowl field was in poor condition, causing an embarrassment to the league. However, this year’s field looks okay so far, with the logos at the 25 yard lines and the Big Shield at the 50. The team names and logos are also visible in each end zone. Players are already on the field for warmups, and the grass appears to be performing as intended without any slipping or sliding.

Despite this, players are not yet making full-speed cuts on the field. This means that we will have to wait until the game to see how well it performs under pressure. Last year, the league office blamed the players for not wearing the right shoes when conditions were raised by owners during March 2023 annual meetings. However, it was ultimately not their fault and had a negative impact on the game. This makes it all the more important for the league to ensure that they get it right this year.
