Despite their loss in Super Bowl LVIII, the 49ers are favored to win Super Bowl LIX according to odds released by sportsbooks. The odds they are getting varies from book to book but are generally around +550. Following the 49ers, the Chiefs, AFC champions, are the No. 2 team. The Ravens, who lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, are No. 3.
The Lions and Bills round out the top five, although the order of those final two teams isn’t uniform. The following six teams include the Bengals, Cowboys, Eagles, Dolphins, Packers, and Texans in varying orders. The next group includes the Chargers, Jets, Rams, and Jaguars.
Caesars Sportsbook assistant director Adam Pullen reported that they’ve seen a lot of early action backing the Lions and Chargers. He noted that the Lions are following up on a strong season and the Chargers recently hired Jim Harbaugh as their head coach. Meanwhile, Dave Canales is heading into his first season as head coach of the Panthers with some of the longest Super Bowl odds among all teams heading into Super Bowl LIX.
