Monday night at New Smyrna Speedway saw the fourth night of racing in the 2024 World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. The Tour-type Modifieds headlined the program, racing for 50 laps and putting on an action-packed show. Joining them were the Pro Late Models, 602 Modifieds, and Florida Modifieds.
The Tour-type Modifieds were led by Bobby Jones and Eric Lane, with Luke Baldwin, Max Handley, and Carsten DiGiantomasso rounding out the top five. It was a close race between these drivers, with some intense moments throughout. Meanwhile, the 602 Modifieds were topped by Bobby Jones once again, followed by Eric Lane and Luke Baldwin. These three drivers put on an impressive show as well, with some thrilling battles taking place between them.
In addition to these two divisions, there were several other drivers in the field. Cody Norman, Jack Baldwin, Josh Carey, Jarret DiGantomasso, Nick Baer and more all competed in different races. Despite the large field of drivers, it was clear that the focus was on the Tour-type Modifieds and 602 Modifieds divisions as they battled for supremacy on track.
Overall it was an exciting night of racing at New Smyrna Speedway. Fans can look forward to more action as the World Series continues.
