Thunder center Bismack Biyombo collapses near team bench

In a recent NBA game between the Washington Wizards and the Oklahoma City Thunder, there was a concerning moment when Thunder center Bismack Biyombo collapsed near the bench. Fortunately, early reports suggest that it was not a serious medical issue.

During a timeout, Biyombo fell over while standing by the bench high-fiving players. He was quickly revived and walked back to the Thunder’s locker room for evaluation by the medical staff from both teams. Thankfully, he was cleared of any serious medical emergency.

Despite being cleared by medical staff, the Thunder decided to be cautious and hold Biyombo out for the rest of the game for monitoring and further evaluation. Thunder coach Mark Daigneault reassured reporters that Biyombo was doing fine and was even joking around with his teammates after the game.

Biyombo had joined the Thunder after the trade deadline to provide depth in the front line. He has played in only four games for the team, totaling 23 minutes of play. The Thunder will have some time off before their next game against the Heat on Friday.
