The Texas A&M Basketball team has had a remarkable start to their season, currently boasting a 4-0 record. Their recent victories over Ohio State and SMU have showcased their poise and toughness in tight matchups. In their latest game, they defeated Oral Roberts to further solidify their impressive start.

Up next, the team will head to Orlando, Florida for the ESPN Invitational Tournament where they will face off against Penn State in a rematch of last year’s NCAA Tournament opening-round loss. The latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll has Texas A&M rising two spots to No. 13, highlighting the impressive start of the team has caught the attention of voters. They remain undefeated heading into the ESPN Invitational Tournament and are currently the second highest-ranked SEC program behind Tennessee at No. 8. Other SEC teams in the top 25 include Alabama at No. 22, Kentucky at No. 16, Mississippi State who entered the rankings for the first time this year with a 5-0 record and Arkansas, Auburn, and South Carolina also received votes in the poll, showing the strength of the conference early on in the season.
