The Wisconsin deer hunting opener overlaps with the wrap-up of Minnesota’s rifle hunting season for deer. Hunting supplies stores are giving helpful tips for hunters to make the most out of their season. Scott Miller, an employee from Northwest Outlet, said that wearing layers and having wool socks can make a big difference on a hunting trip. He explained that hunters in Wisconsin have one week to gear up and prepare for the season, while those in Minnesota have an extra weekend to hunt before the overlap.

Despite the lack of snow this year, many hunters are still having difficulty tracking deer while hunting. Pat Kukull, co-owner of Superior Shooters Supply, advised young hunters to be patient during Wisconsin’s Deer Hunting season. He also mentioned that customers are well-prepared and have been sighting their guns early in preparation for the season.
