As the world celebrates World Day of the Sick, we turn to you, Lord Jesus Christ, for your mercy and compassion for those who are suffering in body, mind, and spirit. We entrust them to you, praying for your grace, strength, peace, and hope to sustain them through their trials.
We also lift up those who care for the sick and the elderly, including doctors, nurses, volunteers, and family members. We ask for your blessing upon them for their generous service and selfless love. Protect them from harm and fatigue, and let them know the goodness they bring into the world.
As we turn our hearts towards those who are suffering, we also pray for leaders of nations and those in the scientific community. We ask that they work together for the common good of humanity. May they promote a culture of solidarity and fraternity, and work towards a world in which everyone has access to health care. Amen.
Through the intercession of Mary, we ask for the grace to follow your example of love and service as faithful witnesses of your Gospel in this world. Let us share in your glory in heaven as we continue our mission to spread your message of hope and healing across all nations.
