Young Scientists in Kerry Showcase Excitement during MTU Family Science Week

During the Family Science Week showcase event at MTU Kerry North Campus, several attendees were captured in photos enjoying themselves at the various activities available. Among them were Aliyah Bruse and Rebekah Landy, who were seen having a great time together. Ten-year-old Eoin McMillan was also photographed getting into the scientific spirit, while Daithi Nolan was captured testing his mettle during a VR experience.

Keely Flaherty and Lily Walsh were photographed with Robert Cooke, the Nutty Scientist, as they explored the world of robotics. Meanwhile, sisters August Culhane and Sheeryn Culhane were snapped in action during a zoology demonstration, while six-year-old Keelan Wren, Aidan Nkomo, and Jayden Duma were captured enjoying the children’s sustainable recycling workshop.

The showcase event included a range of activities for all ages, from VR experiences to scientific testing and robotics displays. Organizers described it as a fantastic day of free entertainment that inspired wonder in the eyes of both children and adults alike. Whether you were interested in electric vehicles or sustainable food making, there was something for everyone at this exciting event.
