MIAS Architects Designs Zariquiey Health Center Foyer

The Can Zariquiey Health Center Foyer, designed by Mias Architects, is a welcoming space created for the families of patients. The design concept focused on creating a friendly, familial environment with a domestic feel in terms of dimensions, materials, colors, and lighting.

The new reception space is integrated into the interior world of the courtyard, connecting inside and outside seamlessly. The design features a construction with a central pillar and mixed wooden and metal elements, giving it a slightly radial and L-shaped shape. This unique construction appears like a spider, drawing inspiration from Louise Bourgeois’ spider sculpture, Maman.

The space is designed to be easily related to the building and existing spaces, creating a sense of harmony and coherence. The design reflects a balance between the interior and exterior, blending natural and artificial light to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
